New Barbour Spring Summer 2013 Collection
Following on from the successful Autumn/Winter collection of Barbour Jackets and Barbour Clothing we are pleased to be able to offer you a new range of Barbour Clothing, Bags and Accessories from their new Spring Summer 2013 Collection.
This fantastic new collection features a range of Barbour Jackets and Clothing in classic styles such as the Barbour Sapper, Barbour Liddesdale and Barbour Utility Jackets as well as a selection of brand new Barbour jackets and coats such as the Mens Quilted Saddlemoor Jacket & Bosun Quilted Gilet.
The popular Ladies Summer Liddesdale Quilted Jackets and Gilets makes a return this season with a range of brand new colours and design features including Barbour print trims & linings.
These ‘Exclusive to Barbour’ Country Cottage prints including floral designs with names such as True Blue and Red Poppy. Used to great effect in a range of ladies Barbour silk scarves as well as linings and trims on hats and jackets such as the Ladies Barbour Print Beadnell these pretty, floral designs add a touch of freshness and femininity to the new Barbour Spring Summer 2013 collection. The William Morris prints also feature throughout this season’s Barbour clothing and accessories with fabulous new floral patterns such as the Kennet and Kelmscott cropping up on handbags, jackets and hats.

New to the collection this season include the Mens Barbour Tailored Sapper Jacket, a lightweight waxed cotton jacket with multi-pockets and Barbour Tartan half back buggy lining and the Barbour Lowland Wax Jacket.
Both jackets are great for layering over a favourite Barbour shirt/jumper.
For the ladies there's the stylish Cedar Trench Coat, a reversible double-breasted trench coat with belt, a new range of Morris Print Wax Utility Jackets and the new Barbour Willow Quilted Jacket with onion quilt design and Barbour Tartan lining.

Cowen Commando Jacket
Taking its design from an authentic British Army Pattern the Cowen Commando Jacket has always been a popular Barbour Jacket.
The new Barbour Benham Jacket is modelled along the same lines but with a newer slim line design.
Both jackets have multi pockets in which to store all your essentials such as mobile phone, keys etc.

To complement the iconic Barbour International Jacket, first produced in the 1930’s and still popular today, the company has produced several bike inspired jackets.
The International Biker Jacket is available in a range of fabrics and weights including the heavyweight belted 8oz Barbour Sylkoil waxed cotton jacket. The jacket has many design features that contribute to making it one of the best Biker Jackets on the market – the wax cotton outer and pure cotton check lining combine to provide ultimate protection against all weathers. With multiple pockets including one for a map, zip pockets and press-studded storm flaps the jacket offers practicality that is second to none!
Alongside the new wax jackets, Classic Barbour wax pieces continue to make up the core of the range. The long length “Drovers cut” Stockman coat is finding new favour as the ultimate all-weather, endurance jacket. The jacket ‘s cape and studded adjustable fantail offer full-on weather protection combined with Barbour design features such as the traditional cord collar and heritage check lining.
Specially designed and cut for riding the design is based on a style evolved in New Zealand for stockmen, hence the name.

Based on the success of the Utility Jacket, there is now a collection of Ladies Barbour Jackets that are now more tailored and contemporary.
The styles are gently tailored, and some are fitted, and all have pockets and features which make them practical and stylish. The longer jackets have a raglan sleeve which allows you to wear thicker layers underneath. Some of the styles are available in different colours and finishes, including two non-wax versions. These jackets really mark a change in fashion, but of course all styles retain the legendary standard of waterproofing and quality.

More and more new fabrics are being used in addition to waxed cotton, the tactile qualities of the new Weather–Worked Beaufort make it an intriguing and stylish jacket. This fabric, new to Barbour, and constructed in a classic shape, has the appearance of much loved leather but is fully waterproof and washable.
Barbour Quilted Jackets are now as popular as ever, the new Eskdale Quilts are lighter and longer so they fit easily over a sports jacket. The International Quilted Jacket is based on an old Barbour Jacket that was used by the British Army and features the same pockets and belt. The Classic Microfiber Barbour Quilted Jacket is a superb coat with its fleece lining studded cuffs and vents. Barbour trousers now come in 4 distinct fitting styles. They have been developed to include the most appropriate materials, and detailing.
Apart from the Jeans, all the men's trousers have, button and clip fastenings, and are availiable in a variety of colours and either corduroy or twill.
Barbour Trousers enjoy the same attention to detail and quality, that have made the Barbour Jackets so famous, and while a pair of trousers will rarely match service life of a Barbour Wax Jacket, they have been manufactured to an extreemly high quality level.

The more generous fitting of these Barbour Trousers allows for more comfort.
They have a stretch waist band and a stretch fabric as 98% cotton and 2% lycra are used in the fabric. They have a single pleat on both sides and double belt loop on either side.

These Traditional Fit Barbour Trousers have a close fitting, and the fabric is non-stretch. Great for the man with a more athletic build, or those with a higher metabolism. There is a broad belt loop in addition to the normal one.

The new range of Barbour Shirts are the most wonderfully detailed shirts that we have seen. Many of the styles feature a contrast needle point cord sewn into the yoke and inner cuffs which give the shirt a little more body, and increase wear on the inner collar. All of the shirts now have Barbour embroidery on the inner yoke and are 100% soft cotton or brushed cotton, and are of course machine washable.
The perfect country shirt, soft and comfortable, and another wardrobe essential.
If you want to match your Barbour Jacket liner, then both the original Tartan and Muted Tartan are available.

The Canvas Range of bags, are made from a heavy guage cotton with a waterproof laminated layer between two layers of cotton,which are treated for stain resistance.
All the edges are lined with leather and the heavy adjustable webbing straps are attached to the bag with leather reinforced panels.
Some bags also come in an olive colour.

The Leather Barbour Bag Range is being expanded all the time.
Naturally textured the chestnut brown leather (as shown in the picture) does vary slightly between bags.
Made to the same high standards as the Barbour Jackets, Barbour Bags are extremely durable so the
occasional knock on the car door or scrape on a bush will only add to their character. The bags are waterproof but as with all leather goods, do require the occasional application of leather food.
