Bennetts has been making curtains for over 25 years. Our dedicated team of seamstresses are based in our workroom at the Derby Store and work with our Interior Designers. Bespoke Curtains are beautifully hand made to the highest standard, and whether you choose a traditional or contemporary style they will be made to measure using the flair and attention to detail that have become our trade mark.

Choosing Curtains is no easy task as they are one of the major features in a Room. Not only do they perform the obvious functions of keeping out the draft and giving privacy but they can also make a bold statement, providing tone and texture. They are not always restricted to windows; a hallway curtain can act as a draft excluder, or you might use them round a 4 poster bed for example.

Curtain Fabric
Bennetts have an extensive fabric library with new fabric books from all of the major fabric makers. You can bring in a sample colour or an item such as a cushion that you like and we will be able to evolve your ideas.

Curtain Design
Next comes the fun bit.........or was that choosing the fabric?

We will start to work up the ideas and give some examples of the options for curtain design........
"Goblet Pleats, tulip pleats, pinch pleats or perhaps tab top or even a contemporary eyelet?"
"Pelmets, poles or perhaps a valance heading? Maybe swags and tails?"
It can all get pretty confusing but once again our in house design team have been through this hundreds of times and will be able to help choose the style that will be just right for you.
Home Visit.
A member of our Design team will always do a site visit to take all the measurements and make sure there are no unforeseen problems. |
