| White Tower Chess Set | This hand painted chess set is a stunning representation of the White Tower, the oldest of the buildings in the historic Tower of London and features King Henry VIII as king, the Tower as the castle, the Beefeaters (Yeoman Warders) as pawns and the world famous Tower Ravens as the rook.
Originally built as a Royal palace and fortress by William the Conqueror the Tower has also been used, amongst other things, as a prison and large store for gunpowder and arms.
The White Tower Chess Set forms part of a collection of themed chess sets from the skilled craftsmen at Studio Anne Carlton (SAC) including Lord of the Rings and the Battle of Waterloo.

Please note that this set does not include a chessboard. We are, however, pleased to be able to offer you a choice of boards to complement your set. | | | | | Other items of interest. | | |
