The green and white stripe effect on the lid matches that on the Up the Garden Path Mug from the same range of ceramics and would look lovely set on a patio table.
In true English style up the garden path pays so much attention to detail, but is so understated in design. At a first glance it washes over you, but dig deeper, and you see botanic close ups dwarfing to "ladies who lunch" and quotes from Oscar Wilde - specifically The Importance of Being Earnest.
