United Kingdom & BFPO Postage Charges

UK Standard Delivery

Bennetts aim to get your order to you as soon as possible.

When you have placed your order Bennetts will send you an e-mail of confirmation. We will then e-mail you to let you know the despatch date. Finally we will e-mail you to tell you when the goods have been sent from our warehouse, and on what carrier. This will also have a unique Tracking Number to allow you to follow the progress of the package online.

Goods will normally be despatched within 24 hours of receipt of your order. In most cases you will receive your goods within 24-48 hours, but please allow up to 3 working days for them to reach you.

Orders received after 12pm might be processed on the next working day. Orders received after 12pm on a Friday will be dispatched on a Monday.

Please ensure that all the details that you give us are correct. If you need something more urgently, then please Contact us ... there is usually some way we can help. Similarly, if you have any special requests such as a specific gift wrap then please let us know.

UK Next Working Day

Orders received before 12 pm will be dispatched via UPS for a Next Working Day Delivery. Orders received after 12pm on Friday will be despatched on a Monday. If the order is urgent please Contact us and we try our best to despatch the goods earlier and also confirm the goods are in stock.

Furniture Deliveries

Furniture orders will incur delivery charges according to weight, volume and delivery location. We will contact you to confirm charges before processing your order and to discuss delivery date.

Stock

Bennetts have three retail stores, so we do try to keep everything on the web site in stock. Occasionally, however, something you order may be out of stock. We will inform you of this on processing your order and keep you up to date on its progress via telephone and email.

Furniture is subject to an order lead time and is delivered by a specialist carrier. We will contact you to assess if there are any requirements.

Value Added Tax (VAT)

VAT is applied to UK and some EU countries at a rate of 20% which is shown as part of the product price.

VAT is automatically removed when shipping to the USA, Canada and other countries not subject to UK Tax Law.

If goods are shipped to a country that is not subject to UK Tax, the VAT will be removed at the checkout as you input the delivery country and submit this. As a rough rule of thumb this would mean goods to the value of £220 and above such as some Barbour Jackets or pieces of Royal Crown Derby would "pay for their own postage to the USA." Please consult your local Tax or Customs Office about Import Duty.

BFPO Delivery

If you are ordering from a BFPO number then please insert the BFPO Number as the Postcode and United Kingdom as the Country Destination.

Our System will apply VAT to the Transaction, but we will then remove the VAT depending on the BFPO Destination. This will happen as your order is processed by us and not at the Secure Payment Portal. If you have any questions then please Contact us.

Overseas Shipping Charges

Please note that for Delivery outside the UK a postage charge is applied based on an average weight including packaging (3kg). Please insert the delivery address and the Shopping Basket will do the rest. If you feel the products you purchased are light in weight than please contact us and we will calculate an exact cost and credit as appropriate. Please note that in most cases postage charges to us are greater than we pass on to our Customers.

Please note that depending on the delivery address some products may be uneconomical or impractical to post. Bennetts reserve the right to cancel an order if this is the case. Please note no funds are taken from a customer's account until the goods are sent.
