Native to the forests of eastern Venezuela, north eastern Brazil and the Northern Amazonas the Sun Parakeet is a medium size parrot of vibrant reds, yellows and oranges with slightly green wings.
Also known as the Sun Conure this brightly coloured bird makes a good pet. Noted for its loud squawking and playful and affectionate nature the Sun Parakeet is a cheekly little character.
