| Red Squirrel | Derby Ceramic Manufacturers have a long tradition of making animal figures. It is interesting to note that the current Royal Crown Derby Red Squirrel Paperweight has many of the same characteristics as a c1760 red squirrel made at the Nottingham Road Factory.
The Red Squirrel reflects his environment down to the foliage in which he stands. The rich decoration do not detract from the character of this beautiful animal which is so well captured in this paperweight.
