| Swimming Duckling | The Swimming Duckling is part of a series of Ducks modelled for Royal Crown Derby by John Ablitt. The duckling really captures the concept of Royal Crown Derby Paperweights, as it captures the shape of the duckling and its character, and the colouring runs with the Crown Derby tradition of rich decoration.
The Swimming Duckling has traditional Crown Derby colouring of iron red with his wing feathers being picked up with mazarine blue. With his rounded body and compact head the duckling is one of the most endearing paperweights in the series.
